First RTM or whatever docs come with the Lucents Orinoco CD.

Get the pcmcia-cs-3.1.25 package and compile it with the driver from Lucents Orinoco CD. Configure, make, install.

Find the module options file (/etc/modules.conf, conf.modules) and /etc/pcmcia/modules.opts and make sure the wavelan is mentioned something like
module "wavelan2_cs" opts "network_name=(fill in name) station_name="(fill in name)" key_1="" "

Edit your network files (/etc/network, /etc/sysconfig/network or /etc/network.opts or so) plus /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth and fill in the IP address, netmask, broadcast address, DNS and Gateway.

Edit /etc/pcmcia/wireless.opts, remove the comments from
*,*,*,*)
;;

Reboot.
Now check dmesg for signs the network and wavelan are started.
if this aint working, execute, and post the output here from:
1. "dmesg | grep cardmgr"
2. "lsmod"
3. "ifconfig -a"
4. "route -n"

HTH somehow.
