working with hidden files from the command line

hello all,

i have a hidden file that i need to change permissions on (to 644). how do i work with hidden files from the command line? i can't seem to remember.

Thes same way as non hidden files; chmod 0644 /path/to/.filename

ls -a to list all files--including hidden. All file management commands are the same--regardless if the file is hidden.
