WinTV-GO display problems, almost there

I just bought a hauppauge WinTV-GO tv tuner card and am having troubles getting it all hooked up. When doing "xawtv -device /dev/video", I can get a picture with no color and sound but the picture is very small and when I stretch it, the picture gets all messed up. the further I stretch it the more "copies" of the same image are overlayed over each other, creating a duplication effect. I am sure that it is probably a driver or options problem. Here is my lsmod output:

this is what I have for my modules.conf file.....I am sure this is not correct but I dont know where to find all of the different options:

alias char-major-81 bttv
options bttv card=10

Can anyone see what could be causing the problems? Thanks so much for all your help in advance
