I know that this message base is smothered in wine questions, but bare with me here. When I run the wine program to install StarCraft, I get the error message:

fixme:dialog:MSGBOX_OnInit task modal msgbox ! Not modal yet.

Along with a dialog box that says:

No program start menu found.

Then I started doing research and found winecheck, after running winecheck, everything seems ok except for two things:

The MIDI synthesiser is BAD

and there's no Window's registry

I'm starting to believe the absence of a Windows registry for wine is the problem. First of all, am I wrong? Second, if I'm right....how would I put a Windows registry in RH7.3 for wine to use?
