wine & VB6 & flash8.ocx

Trying to create a very simple form in vb, without the need for winbloze.
So I got VB6 working nicely in wine, was very easy.

The form will have a flash file embedded into it. So I need to call the flash.ocx. Ok, easy enough. Except that I get an error: "c:\windows\system32\flash.ocx could not be loaded".

All other ocx's seem to load fine, and I tried a few diff versions of the flash.ocx to no avail.

Anyone else try this before? Or know a solution?

Thanks,

How did you install the ocx file? Did you just throw it into your system32 dir or did you install flash properly? Maybe registering it with regsvr32 will help (most surely it won't).

I don't really know what else to suggest.

Did both ways actually. Installed flash 10 from adobe's website, then tried to load flash10c.ocx, but didn't work. So I had a friend send me his ocx file, which is outdated at flash 8 (flash8.ocx) and still didn't work. Did the register things, still doesn't work. Winecfg, then switched from builtin to native and tried a few other options, still nope.

I'll probably end up spending more time figuring this out than it would take to throw together a quick install of the crappy os.
