wine?
 

im new to linux and im just wandering how to get wine working so i can use some windows download programs

any info on how to get wine working and how to install some windows apps would b great...

Don't expect too much out of wine.

It works ok on some things, but it's not 100 %.


But the documentation is good and you just need to try it and see if your program works.

i have gotten many things to work in it, including half life. my best experience with it was downloading a new cvs and compiling it.
