Wifi card configuration

alrighty i've got an HP ze5470us notebook which has a broadcom 54g built in wifi card. i'm setting up everything to work with it. i found a great resource at

no i feel really silly asking this. but it states i gotta copy this guy's .config file to /usr/src/linux/.config and perform your normal kernel and modules builds. Then perform the build of WirelessTools and NDISwrapper.

how do i build my kernel. thanks
