wierd problem

I booted my computer and it just hangs on the:

press ctrl+alt to enter recovery genius:

something like that, i pressed ctrl+alt+del and grub loaded...

I was just wonderin if there may be any problems that caused this hang up or is it just normal for computers to do weird things at times...

everything seems to be ok for now... although i haven't turned off my pc yet... i guess i'll know if the problem will occur again after i turn my pc on again next time....

You really should have posted more info. Like "Recovery Genius" being a HD protection tool that scans/repairs "problems" before the OS is loaded. I suggest you check out the docs that came with it, could well be this ain't a Linux issue.

Recovery Genius always shows up when i boot my computer then it loads grub....

But when i booted my computer recently... it just sits there for along time and i had to press ctrl+alt+del... the computer restarted and the Recovery Genius shows up again, but this time grub loaded... and things worked normally.... although i encounter the same problem randomly...
