The main problem today as I see it, is that the "stable" Linux versions aren't available anymore.
Can be an insult to Novell Suse , Debian and Slackware.

Lot's of comments here

I hate to admit it, but I see things saikee sees. Debian Woody is solid, simple, and free. So is Red Hat 9. The tight ass computer companies around here will use these two till near death because they serve their purpose well. The computer company set's them up as a server with all XP Pro clients and don't ever come back to the site, all customer problems are XP Pro related and everything is taken care of from the shop with remote assistance. The server.........Debian, Red Hat 9.......only bitches when the hardware fails.
I have FC6, the way I see it, if this tight ass company had to deal with FC6 they would need more manpower and there is a serious shortage of manpower here in one of the worlds hottest economies. I have Etch 64bit, I like it, probably better off with the 32bit version as far as the economic situation here dictates. But one thing for sure.......Debian Woody & Red Hat 9 meets the needs of the customers around here who don't need the latest technology to make extreme money. Trust me, around here, a common labourer makes an average of $60.00 an hour with all the double time overtime and benefits, and the Canadian dollar is just under the US dollar. A common labourer don't make the money a business does with office equipment and Debian Woody or RH 9 running the show, (more Woody than RH9).
The newer fancy technology is nice in some cases, but when you're too busy raking in the bucks, you have no time or resources to keep up with technology.

Debian rules! (in the free world)

EDIT: I got no time to argue, got allot of dependency issues to take care of in FC6.
