Strong affection.

I really enjoy the names of the application clones Like "Midnight Commander". It's like saying "ya you came up with the idea for an Application that fills a major need , but I think it is better this way and with a silly name to mock you as well".I like how Linux is open and not just Opensource. I like the modularity of having a bunch of Desktop Environments available. I like Yum.

I also enjoy when I Click on a box on a website to Check MY Registry. I enjoy when you install a package and it installs bonus stuff like "Meld".Edit: I could fall in love with an Application named Meld.

Yeah, I also have to laugh when some obscure window pops up and claims that it has found 3 viruses on my C: drive. Stupid web-programmers, not even able to check the user-agent string.

Must be a damn virus deleted my Registry!

My Registry is Messed up! Wait a minute I don't have one at all. I don't think people like that should be asking if my computer is running slow or not.

No matter how, I still feel that Windows is better than linux, except the problems of virus/worm.

most of the things i need to use are in Windows.
Besides your feelings, why do you run Linux? And may I ask which software you run that has no counterpart in Linux?

Solidworks, Ansys 12.1,
AutoCAD, Mathlab,
Maple, Mathematica.

All must run in Windows.

I use Ubuntu is only for fun.
And learned some unix commands.

There are Linux clients for Mathmatica and Matlab. I'm not sure about Maple but I'm sure there are alternatives. There are also alternatives for CAD software.

Ansys has had a linux version for years now.

Are you using the ever-popular 'cracked' versions of those programs?
