who uses gnucash?
 

I have been setting up my household accounts on gnucash. I had previously been using quicken for about 7 years.

Anyway, I like gnucash fine, but I was wondering why I have about 20 different gnucash files in my home directory...

The files are for example: MyName20020119andmorenumbers.xac. So it looks like every time I save my file, it renames it the the current date with some other numbers too. Quicken just keeps saving over your same file, which is what I want gnucash to do. I looked in gnucash help, but didn't see anything about this.
