Which FOSS organisations as will beneficiaries?

Hello

I would like to leave money to FOSS organisations. Which organisations to choose?

There's a list at Donation Central. It has many entries but does not highlight possible concerns such as the Apache Foundation's licence and is, of course, not complete.

Best

Charles

I would honestly think of the major ones.... Linux itself, apache, etc. Lately, I've only donated to LQ, but I feel the need to donate more as well.

I will likely donate soon as well, because I got some money recently. I would donate to linuxfoundation.org, slackware, LQ, and fsf.org (this one is harder, because I don't like the options it has). I prefer lump sum donations.

I forgot to mention slackware too. I would say mandriva as well, but I think it would take a lot more than what I want to donate to help them out.....

No problem! And speaking of which, my anual subscription for LQ just renewed for the "Contributing Member." When I saw the transcation, I was actually proud to say that 35 dollars of my money is being used for something good.
