Question which flavour?


which distribution of linux is best or is it just down to personal preference?

do different distributions excel in different areas?

this has been done sooooooooooooooo many times, there is no best distro, it depends what you want to do, go have a search in the distributions forum, theres plenty of big threads like this to read.

I have a Toyota Echo. It gets great gas mileage.

I test drove an echo. I liked it , but every time I was in it I kept repeating myself.

I can see that this thread went off topic rather quickly. I'm closing this thread as yes, we do have many threads in the Distribution forum that has asked this many many times. I'd suggest browse/search around and contribute to the existing threads we already have.
