Where to put xscreensaver to launch as daemon


What file do I put xscreensaver in to launch it as a daemon?

It depends on when you want it to run, and perhaps what window manager/desktop environment you use.

I'm using KDE right now, and have it start upon logon (so the user has full control over it, rather than root). I put a simple shortcut icon for xscreensaver in ~/.kde/Autostart/

I'm using WMaker, I put it in .zlogin since I'm using ZSH, but it just hangs up when I try logging in. I figured it would launch the daemon and proceed with the login process.
