I'm not clear on what your are trying to do...You will not find SW written "for WINE"----WINE is designed to run existing Windows SW on Linux.

Please tell us more about what you are trying to do.

OK, sorry

I include 2 scripts in all my downloads

make_iso.sh

make_iso.bat

Now, not having Dindows
many email me and ask how to use make_iso.bat on their
windows pc to make a iso image

I don't know what to tell them?

I don't even remmeber how to use Dindows, LOL!

So, my ignorance of mkisofs.exe is huge.

I just want to somehow give a "readme" so that windows users can use the make_iso.bat
script, and where to find cdrtools, etc for windows?

so, here's make_iso.bat, found in any slax or slax derivitive

Code:
@ECHO OFF

REM ----------------------------------------------------

REM Batch file to create bootable ISO in Windows

REM usage: make_iso.bat c:\new-slax.iso

REM author: Tomas M. <http://www.linux-live.org>

REM ----------------------------------------------------

if "%1"=="" goto error1

cd ..

set CDLABEL=SLAX

slax\tools\WIN\mkisofs.exe @slax\tools\WIN\config -o "%1" -A "%CDLABEL%" -V "%CDLABEL%" .

echo.

echo New ISO should be created now.

goto theend

:error1

echo A parameter is required - target ISO file.

echo Example: %0 c:\target.iso

goto theend

:error2

echo Error creating the ISO file

goto theend

:theend

pause
So, can I install cdrtools, etc in Ubuntu wine?
and how to help windows users get/use mkisofs.exe??

Thanks Pix!

EDIT: Damn it I just saw why the error is happening, one at least
Quote:
slax\tools\WIN\mkisofs.exe
Being an idiot I forgot to include the folders and mkisofs.exe
which would be in /tools/WIN/mkisofs.exe!!

DOH!

just wondering, aren't there any restrictions for providing these windowsprograms on CD ?
(qemu.exe, makeisofs.exe...)
