Where is trashcan_full/empty.png and kmenu.png???

I wrote over the /usr/share/icons/Bluecurve/48x48 (and 32x32) icons with ones i wanted to use and the old ones still show up..

Im using Redhat 8.0 obviously. I searched my entire machine for these files and the only ones that come up are the ones i replaced... but there not!

any ideas? (using gnome) does the system take a snapshot of these icons and create it's own little DB to work off of? Im not interested in repalcing the entire theme, just these two icons.

Check for a /home/user/.kde/share/icons directory.

If you over-wrote the /usr/share/... , then you might need to reload the theme into your user to get it to recognize the new icons.
