where is the startup script of icewm when there is no ~/.icewm


where is the startup script of icewm when there is no ~/.icewm ?

thank you for any infroamtion

find -iname "*icewm*" gives nothg

locate icewm
The global configuration files can be in different places depending on the OS and the installation method. Try under /etc/X11/icewm/. Once you've found them, you can copy the configuration files in your home directory under $HOME/.icewm/ (you have to create the directory manually) and edit these copies for your personal customization.

You may want to include the path for find so it doesn't start it's search in the current directory, so

find / -iname "*icewm*"

if you don't use slocate on your system
