I'm using openSUSE 10.2 and would like to use the desktop gadgets like the ones that come with Google Desktop. The Linux version of Google Desktop does not have gadgets but i have seen these gadgets on Ubuntu 7.04, certainly not from Google Desktop.
you seem to change your mind 5 times about what you actually want... the google gadgets are windows only. launch desktop doesn't exist yet. what do you actually want to achieve?

If only you take time to read and understand a post before hitting the Submit button you could have given me an answer like the one from craigevile. The whole point of referring to the Google Desktop gadgets is to give anyone who is going to help me a background on the issue together with what i want and as such get an answer thats not wild and off topic.
Its not about the number of posts that counts, its about the quality of posts. Thanks craigevil.
i read your post, that's for the insults though, always appreciated. you never once said what you actually want. one second it's google desktop, then it's launch... craigevil took the line that you want somethign pretty and generally useless which is what superkaramba is, but you never asked for somethign equivalent to anything...
Is there anyone who knows where i can get these gadgets?

One man's meat is another man's poison, i have passed the stage were i rant about whats useful or useless, everything has a purpose of its own, be it eye candy. We all have choices anyway.

Interesting how craigevil figured out how Google Desktop Gadgets are equivalent to SuperKaramba
