Where can I get every shared library at?

I was wondering if any site was deticated to hosting every linux shared library file. It's very annoying to try to compile from source and then have to find each shared library your missing on google.

If there isn't a site yet I think I might have to start one... but then again I'm the one missing all the libraries in the first place :(

I don't think there's such a site, neither one that
has them all precompiled for all possible hardware/
software version combinations, nor one that lists
them all ...

Instead of google you could use
freshmeat.net and sourceforge.net as your starting
points, though. And, to make life easier, a large
number of projects actually lists in their README/
INSTALL files where required libraries can be
obtained.

Cheers,
Tink
