Where are the updates stored before they are installed?


I'm using the Red Hat updater thingie (the red exclamation mark in the task bar). Could someone tell me where the files are downloaded to?

Into a directory in /var/cache/ . Might be up2date/ .

Hi,

If you don't change the default, it should be /var/spool/up2date.
