What wrong with my Sound?

I have meet a question. That my flash plugin in Netscape and Gaim and Realplay play no sound again.
Which my System is mandrake 9.2
but in my mozilia flash plugin and other program as xmms, Totem works with sound well
I think maybe problem with linux sounds set which I used now aRts
how could I get my sound with gaim,Netscape flash plugin, realplay again?

This is how I fixed mine:

As root

chmod a+rw /dev/dsp

there is no /dev/dsp in directory?

Is there a /dev/dsp0 , or dsp1, dsp2, etc........??

If so just make a symlink as so..........

Code:

ln -s /dev/dsp? /dev/dsp

just replace the ? with whatever dsp number you have.........

such as in gaim
In Preference->Sound->sound method
when I chosed : Command and with:artsplay %s I get sound
but I chosed other Automatic, Arts.......
no sound at all.
In Netscape , flash and realplay plugin without sound
But in Mozilia flash has sound, Xmms and Totem also.

Everything is well the day before yesterday,but when I install sth about audiofile and libao-0.8.3, it's wrong with sound.
I uninstall audiofile and libao ,nothing comeback
