What the hell is this?!

ok, everytime i try to install kernel 2.6 in mandrake or red hat everything seems to work fine except for the fact that everytime the computer boots there are all these error messages complaining about "QM_MODULES" not being implemented!

what the hell are QM_MODULES?! and how do i install/implement them?

everything else seems to work fine... ecxcept that i also can't seem to install rpms after the installation of the kernel is complete... could both things be related?

The 2..6.x kernels need a new version of mod uitils. Either get it from your distribution or download them from kernel.org

"What the hell is this thread about?" Word of advice... user better thread titles in the future bud, it helps other members searching the forums to know what your thread is actually about.

Regards.

Exactly my point. Can you understand the member who is browsing and searching, finds your topic in a list but has no idea if your thread will help him or not, I can see the frustration there as well.. I've been there before when searching.. Just a thought!

Cheers.
