what is the structure of LILO map file?

Hi everyone,
does anybody know the structure of LILO map file?
I need the map file structure to extract some information of kernel physical address from it.
Lilo source code is complex and I can't understand well..

Hi there,

The notes in http://lilo.alioth.debian.org/olddoc/pdf/tech_21-5.pdf may help. Alternately it looks like the "verbose = 5" option in lilo.conf might help - it claims to "the mapping of each sector".

What information are you looking for exactly? It may be accessible in other ways (outside of lilo)?

Thanks for reply clifford, I'm looking for LBA address of my linux kernel.. with "verbose = 5" (lilo -L -v -v -v -v -v) it prints some LBA address, but when I test these LBA in debugfs(testb block_num), it says that "Block block_num not in use"!
the LBAs which lilo returns are different from LBAs which "stat" command in debugfs returns.. do you know the reason??
I am developing my own bootloader and I need the kernel LBA address to load it on memory! my bootloader doesn't support the file system
