What is feedback?

In KDE control center, there is a option named "Enable launch feedback", I just want to know what is feedback? And I found when an icon before the mouse looks not very beautiful, so I disabled launch feedback, any matter?

It doesn't matter. It is just there to let you know, that you clicked the icon and that the program is being launched. It is only for your convenience. Disabling it doesn't mean any harm or good :P

it gives you the option to have the program icon you clicked hover around the mouse icon while the program loads

if memory serves me you can either set it to
bounce
flash/fade
passive (no program icon)

i have onboad video so turned it off cause i was getting mouse trails of it under heavier cpu usage (ie; when im opening an app)
