what does the number 64 mean in the total line with command ls -lat?


[root@bugatti /]# ls -lat /home/users/
total 64
drwxr-xr-x 94 root audio 4096 Mar 24 16:32 ..
-rw------- 1 users audio 1432 Jun 25 2009 .bash_history
drwx------ 2 users audio 4096 Jun 25 2009 .
-rw-r--r-- 1 users audio 24 May 2 2007 .bash_logout
-rw-r--r-- 1 users audio 191 May 2 2007 .bash_profile
-rw-r--r-- 1 users audio 124 May 2 2007 .bashrc
