What features in OS-X will be implemented in Linux?

Hello

I saw some Mac users, and notice that Apple do great job in the GUI.

I want to know, what projects in Linux do the OS X features and how they compare to the Mac features and what planned for the future.

For example, someone told me, that in Mac hibernate take only 3 seconds to restore while on my new laptop it take some good minutes(I didn't confirm this with a real mac).

There is the page of the new features in the new OS X:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/

The time machine look nice:
http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/timemachine.html

It possible to implement it with some version control, but the only one I know, SVN, save in each directory its own files in ".svn" directory.

What are the features in Mac OS X which implement in Linux and what their status of development?

I think you mean: "What features in OS-X will be implemented in Linux?"

I suppose that a general answer is that all the OS developers tend to mimic features from other systems---and hopefully sometimes they do it better. If was Apple that brought the GUI to the masses---then Microsoft copied the basic features and functionality and applied a layer of marketing which made Windows what it is today.

Some Linux distros work very hard to behave like Windows---something that many of us great with mixed reactions. For myself, I appreciate certain things that work predictably, but I do not like to see every detail mimicked--especially if there is a better way to do it.

Let's turn it around: What are the features you would like to see in Linux?...regardless of where they might be copied from..

why not the all will be????

but what are relly miss for me in linux is a working good voice/video IP.

I have a laptop so hibernate in 3 seconds sound great.

but it also important to know the difference, If something good there why it will not be good in Linux also.

for example the time machine nice, but I don't think I need it.

No--sorry. Why would anyone expect that ALL OS-X features would be copied in Linux?

I assumed you were asking why all OS-X features would not be incorporated in Linux. My reply is "Why would you want --or assume-- this?"
