what are the 'best' text editors (for C, html, js, etc)
 

This question is sort of lame, but I just wanted to throw it out. Someone recommended bluefish (http://bluefish.openoffice.nl) to me for web development, and it is very nice. For command line admin work I use vi. What would be other options for syntax highligted editors for C/C++ and fortran development?

Try eclipse for Java. I like Quanta more for web development. For C/C++ I use a normal text editor :P
