what's the substitute of getch() etc. on g++ compiler


while programming in c++ with g++ compiler I found I couldn't get a character entered from the user because there is nothing like conio.h
in this compiler.so what's the other way out.

cin from iostream is probably what you want to use.

iostream is the standard C++ library for getting input and producting output.
