(fixed) weird halflife server problem
 
well heres my problem... ok i just wiped my linux drive becuase i was having some problems so i figured the easiest thing for me to it wipe it becuase i am a newbie... before i wiped the drive i had a working hlds. i set it up myself. now when i installed linux and installed hlds i am having a problem that i never had before when i type this in the cli "[root@1500p4 hlds_l]# ./hlds_run -game tfc +maxplayers 12 +map 2fort" i get this "bash: ./hlds_run: no such file or dir" i have no idea what to do. i know i setup everything right. but i just have no clue of what to do. does anyone have any insight on this problem any help will just super.

Check the permissions on hlds_run, make sure that the -x flag is set.

i figured it out it was a corrupt file thanx for the help tho
