Webinterface for adminitrating a server

Hi all!
Anyone knows of a program like webmin or freevsd to let all users of a server create/change/remove emailaccounts, virtual servers, mysql databases, etc...???

I only need tools who can do this with a webbrowser and has to be very userfriendly.

Suggestions please!

I think that webmin can do this... Or maybe you don't like it?

i really do fear such applications. you want to be able to control all these vital and important things about your system from a handful of attractive webpages??? personally the though of it makes me shiver... while webmin and such do exist and seem to do a reasonable job there's nothing that can do the job of manually editing things. if users want all the power they should surely be prepared to understand how to use it properly.

I already tested webmin. It looks really good but i am looking for more programs so i can compare.

Webmin is far and away the "best" software for this job.

Ok, i just wish i had some other options. I have to do research for my company for these programs and the only one which can do everything what is needed is webmin. It was the only one i could find.

You may also try SWAT. I've not used it myself, I just know it exists.

I thought SWAT was a module for webmin right?

Mara 08-17-2002 08:25 AM

AFAIK SWAT can run without Webmin, so it looks it's not a module. As I said before, I just know it exists.
