weard mp3 player

i have a mp3 player
but it behaves strange when i try to use it under linux
when i try to use it under windows it works perfectly well
but when i try to mount it, it works under command prompt and i am amble to copy file as well delete them i.e. read/write operation

but if try to use it in GUI it says the disk is read only
i tried under KDE and GNOME but the problem persists.

the string i used in fstab is ----

/dev/sda /home/flash vfat noauto,rw,users,exec,umask=000 0 0

can anywell tell me about this strange behaviour?

Nope. Under GUI there is some automounter I guess which mounts it SUID root, vfat defaults to readonly for users if mounted by root.
