Want to add something to my rc.local

Would it be proper for me to put the following lines into my /etc/rc.d/rc.local file?

Code:
route add -net 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.168.72
Code:
route add -net 192.168.2.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 gw 192.168.168.73
I have two subnets in my office network, each connected to the main office network via a linux PC with 2 NIC's with ip forwarding enabled. So, what I do is configure a static route to each of the two subnets. But, that static route dissapears after a reboot, so will putting it into the rc.local file be ok?

Test your configuration after setting it up from shell if you haven't already do it (I think it's ok but give it a try).

If it works add it to rc.local so it will be executed at any boot.

Short anser:
Yes
