ahmetaa LQ Newbie Registered: Jul 2003 Location: puerto rico Distribution: redhat Posts: 7 Thanked: 0	VT8233 AC97 codec hangs linux [Log in to get rid of this advertisement] hello again, another problem of me, i have a MSI KT333 AMD mainboard. it has an onboard VT8233 AC97 sound codec (linux dedects with this name) but when i use any sound, for 0.5 seconds (or shorter) sound comes, after that everything freezes. any solution? System: redhat 9.0 Gnome
