Volume

Hey all

I have a strange problem with the volume control....

Every time i reset my computer, I have to turn up the PCM volume. The master volume is on the same level that I set it to. It doesnt matter if you log out, but when I choose to have the control monitor the main volume, next time I reset my computer, the PCM is at the volume I set it, and the master volume is right down. Anyone know what's wrong?

Cheers,
Aaron

I'm using ALSA, I have an on-board nvidia sound & I'm using the driver that shipped with Sarge. I don't think its a driver problem, maybe a configuration problem?

Cheers for replying
