VOIP enabling
 

Hi

I need VOIP services for my board. I wanted to know which kernel versions supports this? I will be porting the same on my custom board. So i am intrested in knowing the kernel version name and the the steps to be followed to configure the kernel for the same.

Kindly guide me !!

Ok..first, you need to provide some information. Like what version/distro of Linux you're using? What kind of 'board'?? What kind of VOIP support (based on IM server? Skype? What??), do you want?

We can't "kindly guide you", without some details. You can Google for "linux voip solutions", and get lots of hits. But without knowing what your environment and needs are, we can't make suggestions.

I'm not sure what you're talking about exactly, but my first suggestion for full voip pbx services from a server perspective would be asterisk or trixbox (pretty gui with asterisk.) If you're talking running a client from your "board", then there are a lot of choices, but we need to have a more clear understanding of what you're talking about.
