Visudo, Mkfs, Fstab commands errors

1. to assign admin. privledges to users When i try to run VISUDO command as root it states that command not found but man is present, i went to directory but again it ist runing. So i tried to edit sudoers file directly by VI editor editor by chaning permision of that file now after chaning group file when i try to execute any administrative command by other user using sudo command the erros it gives is that the useris not found in sudoers file. can anybody tell me how to add user in sudoers and group file including this scenario..

2. many commands given in Redhat bible book do nt run in the way given in it e.g. i have to search
and then try to execute. Many of the commands are not running while in going to the directory
of command e.g. kbdconfig,mkfs etc.

3. to use fstab file to define mountable file systems i recieve error that permission is denied
after setting the full perm. on that file still is same error.
