Virtual SAN software ?


Hi All,

Is it possible to download any virtual SAN software for EMC / Net App pratice purpose in linux / windows environment?

Any help would be really appreiciated.

I've never heard of such a thing, and have been aroudn EMC SAN's for years. If you want to practice, the best thing I can suggest is get a couple of HBA's, put them in a test box, and set them up. At the very least, you'll be able to see the 'gatekeeper' device, and be able to test/configure multipathing using it.

I found out the vritual SAN / NAS software and its name is openfiler a Linux based 64 bits OS software which can server the Common Storage for my VMWARE ESX Server.
