VIM settings to write more efficiently
I really enjoy using VIM to write python, but I recently tried to use it to write some essays for school. Are there any configurations that I could change in order to make writing longer essays easier using VIM? For instance, a way to be able to just jump one line (on the computer screen) down when I press the K key instead of jumping to the next paragraph?

Thank you

You can get the full vim manual here Should be installed on your system along with the executable eg /usr/share/vim/vim62/doc

Thank you Chris. I think I found what I was looking for, though, in another application (or more like 10 or 20 other applications.) I guess I was looking for more of a full-screen writer similar to WriteRoom (I'm using Focused for Adobe AIR and it's great.) But thank you anyway.

my guess is that that paragraphs are actually one line.

I know they're one line, but is there any way to move upwards visually (perhaps in visual mode?) even though they are one line?

it should bi visual mode. vim does not like word processing, it like coding.
