Video Capture
 

OK, so ATI and WinTV make a card that gets TV as well as having video in from composite and S-Video. Now I know Linux supports WinTV, but does it support the video capture methods besides coax? If so, what applications can I use to record video?

The reason I am asking is because my coax signal comes into my VCR, which then is connected to my video card via composite. I dont want to use coax because thesignal is not as good, but I still need to transmit and receive composite and s-video signals.

Any ideas?
