VESA Framebuffer Driver

Hi!

Does anyone know how to compile and install the VESA Driver. Is it enabled when u recompile the kernel?

Hi there,

If you compile your own kernel, you have to ensure that you have enabled the VESA support in the kernel config file first. It is under Console drivers/frame-buffer support/VESA vga graphics console section in the 2.4.26 kernel. I don't know about the 2.6 kernels.
