Is info a GNU utility or a command?

Thanks for the reply!

This is one of the questions in my final tomorrow (some professors just give you the questions, not the answers so what I come up with might be right or wrong but the question is still in the test.)

It's both, I guess. It's a gnu utility that you call from the command line.

Good luck in the exam,

John

Expect to not recieve direct answers if your seeking answers for a test. You will learn more on your own if you try researching and finding the answer for yourself as we tend to not and try to directly help members by just giving them the answers.

Read our rules at http://www.linuxquestions.org/rules.php where it states our policy in asking questions that are clearly for homework, tests, etc.

Regards.
