Using Pentium 4 software on a Pentium M.
 

I got a Gentoo 2004.3 Pentium 4 2-CD set and I was wondering if it ould work on the Pentium M laptop that I got for christmas.

I think it would work, but in the same way as a minimal install. I'm just guessing, but I think you'll need to recompile (and download) the kernel, and all packages. Try asking on the Gentoo forums, they have alot of users.
