using a router with firewall, local firewall waste?

I use a router to conenct to the internet and it has a built in firewall. I have ran various test on it at sites like shields up, sygate sos, hacker watch and they always come back as secure and stealthed. So would it be worth while running a local firewall as well on my machine? Or would that just be wasted resources?

Thanks in advance

Michael

Depends, does the router have wireless?

If so then thats a possible route into your network that the routers firewall won't protect.
