Using a floppy disk to load a USB disk.

Hi,
I have a USB memory stick (Lexar JumpDrive 128mB) and a computer that doesn't support loading USB at boot time (some boards do it). How do I create a floppy disk that boots up with USB, reads the hard drive, then continues booting like a normal operating system? Please point me to a download or possibly a way to do it. Thank you so much for your help.

you would need to have a dos driver that is loaded by the autoexec.bat and config.sys.

otherwise using Linux, most USB devices and hubs are recognized.

do you have a USB host/hub card in your PC, is that what you need to enable?

No, that's not quite what I meant.

USB works fine with my current Linux distrobutions.

I want to be able to boot a Linux operating system off a USB Memory Stick, but I don't have a motherboard that supports USB at boot time.

I have heard that there is a way to use a floppy disk to start a Linux operating system and then continue loading from the memory stick. How do I do that?
