Username and password to login Suse linux 10


hi all!
I had installed OS Suse 10 Linux on machine installed Windows server 2003 Enterprise.I'm install W2k3 on partition C,Suse on Partition D.
After install finished,i'm login to suse require username and password althrought when install suse not require put in username and password.
Where is problem?

You might want to rephrase your question, I'm not sure that I understand what your talking about.

go into suse using the root password that you 100% had to type and ocen in root creat a new user in user program for that WM.

it should be either kuser or whatever one is for gnome.


yo have to have input some sort of users or something, even if you didnt create a root user Password it the account is still there

i think that honghoahoi's wondering what the default user account of SUSE (username / password) is. Does SUSE use it?

On the second stage of installation (the one after reboot), there should be a step where you're asked for password for "root" user. There's also a step where you're asked to add a new user and its password. My suggestion is to re-do the installation and make sure you do not skip any steps.
