User management

Hi everyone,

I am looking for user management software/script that would allow me to do the following task. I need to automatically delete users from my system if they have not checked their email for 30 days.

Thank you.

Checked **system** e-mail? Or mail on ISP server using a POP client?
The latter might be much more difficult.
For system e-mail, does checking it result in a log entry? Easy to test....

This a fairly specialized task--have you "Googled"?

system email

System email. It is an email server. A lot of people get email addresses and stop using them. I would like to remove thier account automatically whenever they stop using it for over 30 days. I have search google many times, but could not find anything that would help me out.

Regards.

If it is an e-mail server, then I assume that people are accessing with POP clients?? (This is not what I meant by "system" e-mail.)
For any client-server e-mail, there is a mechanism that tells the server if a given message has be read. Thus, when I log in at two different times and check e-mail , I dont get all my messages again.
You might look at the basic docs on the POP-mail protocol for clues.
