Question USENET NNTP News Server Node

I went to learn how to set up and run a USENET Node. I'm not sure what software I am supposed to use, how I become a USENET node, etc etc...

I surprised the lack on information on it that I could find on the Internet.

I hopeing that some one can point me in the right direction with Keywords to use when looking for this information or perhaps has a link to a HOWTO on it.

It will be a while before I go live with this News Server, but I want to learn about it and set it up on a closed networked linux box so that I am able to correctly configure the box, etc etc..

Thanks for your help,
Andrew
