usb mounting phone NOKIA RM-604 model 7230

Hello,
I would like to mount the fat/...disk or exchange
my data between Debian and this phone over the
usb cable.

Would you know if there are known method, since it does not
show up into the lsusb. I might recompile my kernel.

Kind regards
Pat

Two methods:
1) If you have memory card in it, then attach usb cable to phone at one end, other end to computer, then select usb mass storage mode in phone settings (this you have to find in your phone settings.). Then you can use your phone mem. card as usb pen drive.

2) Try to search gammu on google for accessing internal storage of phone.

The internal storage on some Nokia phones can be accessed via bluetooth. This may depend on firmware version of the phone and won't work on every phone.
