Uprading

Hi All First time here. Just learning red hat for my new job.

Question I am upgrading redhat 7.1 to 7.3 and my upgrade keeps hanging right when it hits the mozzilla package. I remove all mozilla packages from the list and works fine what am i doing wrong!

you could install the dependencies, this is a pain, but one way to go. You may find many more dependency problems though.

Or get the source and build it. You can leave the old one if you want to keep it for stuff that is depending on it, and install the source somewhere else by using --prefix=

Or you may find that the dependencies are for some program you will never use and can uninstall it or just ignore it and use --force
