Upgrading PHP with RH 9

I have RH running on our server and I want to upgrade PHP. If I try to use a rpm for a version of PHP e.g. php-4.3.9, there are many unresolved dependencies. What is the best way to resolve this problem?

Many thanks....

a very quick google turns these up: http://ftp.die.net/pub/dierpms/redhat/9/ but there's also the fedora legacy project which is designed to keep older distro's running. ultimately though you can compile ti from source if you feel up to it. As you compile from source it's happier to use what's there to the best of it's abilities, rather thanjust demanding arbitrary version numbers and such.
